Umrigar's condition stable

Mumbai: The condition of former Indian cricket captain Polly Umrigar, who was readmitted to the Bombay Hospital on June 27, continued to remain stable.

Dr. Ashish Tiwari, spokesperson for the hospital said that Umrigar was still undergoing the second phase of chemotherapy, which would be completed on Saturday.

Any decision on his discharge or further sessions of chemotherapy would be taken only after the completion of the second phase, Dr. Tiwari added. — UNI
