11 more suicides in two days

NAGPUR: Even as Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is on a visit to Vidharbha in Maharashtra, at least 11 farmers killed themselves in the last two days, taking the total number of suicides since last June to 606. Kishore Tiwari, convener, Vidharbha Janandolan Samiti, said the deaths took place in Yavatmal, Washim, Akola and Buldana.
