NEW DELHI: Getting a second chance to see whether they qualify for the course of their choice, many students flocked to Delhi University on Friday to see the second list that went up on the notice boards of various colleges. While there were those who managed to scrape through, there were others who still have a long way to go before securing a seat in a college. Many students came all prepared to withdraw their certificates and seek admission in another college. However, there were colleges like Acharya Narendra Dev that did not open its counter for withdrawal of certificates on Friday.

"We return it in a few hours, so students still have three clear days to seek admission elsewhere,'' said Savithri Singh Principal Acharya Narendra Dev. However, colleges like Dyal Singh that had their counters open saw only four to five withdrawals on Friday.
