Somnath leading team to China

NEW DELHI: Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee is heading a parliamentary delegation to China from July 3 to 8.

The delegation will have discussions with the top leaders of the Chinese political hierarchy. They are scheduled to meet the President, Prime Minister and the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress.

The delegation includes Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman K. Rahman Khan, Ananth Kumar, K.S. Rao, Joachim Baxla, Magani Lal Mandal, V. Radhika (all MPs) and Lok Sabha Secretary-General P.D.T. Achary.
