Fee structure announced

BANGALORE: After adding the university and committee fees, the Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has asked aspirants for medical seats in private unaided colleges (both minority and non-minority institutions) to pay Rs. 42,500 under Category `A' and Rs. 2,97,500 under Category `B' (Rs. 1,23,500 for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates whose annual family income is less than Rs. 1 lakh). The fee in government colleges is Rs. 16,700.

For BDS seats, the fee is Rs. 14,400 in government colleges, Rs. 32,500 under Category `A' in private unaided colleges, and Rs. 2,37,500 under Category `B' in private unaided colleges (Rs. 99,500 for SC/ST candidates whose annual family income is less than Rs. 1 lakh).

Engineering courses

For B.E., B.Tech. and B.Arch. seats, the fee is Rs. 18,090 in government, private aided and private unaided colleges under Category `A'. Under Category `B' in private unaided colleges, it is Rs. 88,090 (Rs. 37,090 for SC/ST candidates). For Indian System of Medicine and Homoeopathy courses, the fee is Rs. 8,590 in government colleges, Rs. 11,590 in private aided colleges and Rs. 33,590 in private unaided colleges.
