Chennai: The Alagappa University has invited applications for courses offered by its distance education directorate. The directorate offers 60 courses including BA, MA, MBA, M. Phil and diploma programmes. Sector-specific MBA programmes in Finance, International Business, Investment Management, Hospital Management, Tourism, Education Management, Project Management and Corporate Secretaryship are also available. Under the open university stream, any person who has completed 18 years of age can apply. In Chennai, the varsity's study centre is located at 149, 100 Feet Road, Ekkaduthangal near Kasi Theater Bridge. Prospectus and application forms are available at the centre, which functions on all days from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Contact classes are held at the Central Institute of Plastics Engineering Technology.
