EBC to set up Rs. 125 cr. facility in India

HYDERABAD: European Bearing Corporation (EBC), a Russian market leader with a 37 per cent share, has announced its foray into the Indian market with a Rs. 125-crore manufacturing plant here. The logo for EBC Bearings (India) Ltd. was launched on Monday in the presence of Managing Director, Martin Kunzmann, Russian Consular Representative for South India, Vladislav Antonyuk, and others from the industry. Mr. Kunzmann said the state-of-the-art plant coming up would manufacture large-sized high precision bearings with an outer diameter ranging between 400 and 700 mm specially made for core sector industries such as the Railways, steel, mining, cement and power transmission.
