Panel to study students' cultural activities

NEW DELHI: The Union Human Resource Development Ministry on Monday set up a seven-member expert committee under retired bureaucrat Ashok Vajpayei to draw a strategy for promoting cultural activities among students of Navodaya Vidyalayas and Kendriya Vidyalayas.

Other members of the Committee include NCERT Director Krishna Kumar, Shovita Punja of the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage, theatre director M. K. Raina, Anita Rampal of Delhi University and Urvashi of Kali for Woman.
