Indians win bronze

New Delhi: The Indian men's basketball team won the bronze medal, defeating China 112-75 in the tenth Crown Prince Cup international invitational tournament at Hat Yai City, Thailand, on Sunday.

In addition to the third place, the team players won five of the seven individual awards as follows: Highest Scorer, Highest three-pointer and Most Valuable Player - Trideep Rai; Best blocker - M. Anoop; Best assist player - Sambhaji Kadam.

The final rankings: 1. Iran; 2. Thailand `A'; 3. India; 4. China; 5. Philippines; 6. Thailand `B'; 7. Vietnam; 8. Japan.
