BANGALORE: Sree Bhagwan Mahaveer Jain College scored an easy 5-1 victory over Belgaum District in the State `C' division hockey tournament here on Monday. Naeemuddin scored a brace (52nd and 58th) after Kaveriappa (5th), Dhillon (35th) and Pradeep (37th) had scored earlier. Kaveriappa and Dhillon scored off penalty corners. Shahid scored for Belgaum District in the 44th minute. In the second fixture of the day South Western Railways (Hubli) trounced Youn Stars (Hubli) 6-1. Balraj (36th and 51st) and Manjunath Jadav (17th, pc and 29th) registered a double each while Jeshwanth (55th) and Subash (59th) also scored for the winner. Jeswant (11th) scored the only goal for Young Stars (Hubli).
Corporate table tennis
