Frankfurt: Brazil coach Carlos Alberto Parreira said he was leaving Germany with no regrets over his decisions after his team's quarterfinal exit from the World Cup. ``We had said from the beginning that we couldn't leave anything behind,'' Parreira said on Sunday, a day after Brazil's quarterfinal loss to France in Frankfurt. ``And I think we did everything that was possible.'' Parreira said he wouldn't change anything even if he could. ``We made the all the right choices,'' Parreira said. ``We are frustrated with the result, but our effort was good. We lost one match and have to go home, that's how things work in the World Cup.'' Brazilian media and fans questioned many of the coach's decisions, including the one on Saturday to end Brazil's ``magic quartet'' scheme. Parreira said he would wait until after the World Cup ends on July 9 to make a decision about his future with the national team. ``I want to talk to (Brazilian Soccer Confederation president) Ricardo Teixeira before deciding my future,'' he said. Parreira, who led Brazil to its fourth world title in 1994 in the United States, coached his 20th World Cup match on Saturday and is now five short of the record held by Germany's Helmut Schoen, from 1966 to 1978. He already shares with Bora Milutinovic the record of coaching teams in five World Cups. AP
