Dattatreya's plea to Labour Ministry

HYDERABAD: BJP national secretary Bandaru Dattatreya has urged the Union Labour Ministry to ensure that it provided all jobs to skilled and unskilled labour here in view of workers getting cheated by private companies and brokers in the Gulf. If necessary, a law could be passed for this, he said in a statement here on Monday.

The BJP leader expressed happiness that 70 labourers belonging to Andhra Pradesh, who were duped by brokers offering jobs in the Gulf and subsequently sold to a private firm in Kurdikistan, were able to return home.
