Assembly polls on time next year, says Mulayam

Kanpur: Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh will be held next year as per schedule, Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav said on Monday.

"Samajwadi Party is ready to face Assembly elections," the party chief told reporters here.

He claimed there was improvement in power supply in the State and assured it would further improve by September this year.

The Chief Minister asked partymen to move closer to the masses so that media gives them proper coverage for the work done by them.
