Global air chiefs to meet

BANGALORE:
A global air chiefs' conference will be held to coincide with the platinum jubilee of Indian Air Force next year and inauguration of Aero India 2007, Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal S.P. Tyagi has said.
He was addressing the annual commanders' conference here on Monday.
Mr. Tyagi stressed the need for modernisation of infrastructure and advised all commanders to focus on the issue.
Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief Training Command Air Marshal B.N. Gokhale announced the opening of an aerospace faculty at Air Force Technical Collage at Jalahalli in the city.
Work for inducting the Advanced Jet Trainer, Hawk, and for Aero India Show was on schedule.
