BANGALORE:
Nadeem Kashmiri, the HSBC call centre employee accused of siphoning off £ 2,33,000 from the accounts of customers, was subjected to polygraph and brain mapping tests here on Monday.
Inspector General of Police (Economic Offences) S. Mahapatra said that the tests were conducted at the Forensic Science Laboratory and they would continue on Tuesday.
Mr. Mahapatra said, "We are yet to get the information that we want from him. He has not revealed anything about the way he got in touch with Ershad, the U.K. national, to whom he had sent the data pertaining to some HSBC customers."
Cyber Crime Police were yet to get any leads from the list of international calls made by him. They were tracing the source of money sent to him through Western Union Money Transfer, he said.
Nadeem has allegedly received around Rs. 1.5 lakh from his accomplice in the U.K. He was arrested on June 27 after the company lodged a complaint with Cyber Crime Police.
