Football trinity

Zizou, as the people of France affectionately call Zinedine Zidane, deserves to be part of football's trinity alongside legendary footballers Pele and Maradona (editorial "Football could have a trinity," July 4). But Zidane proved his critics wrong when France beat Brazil in the quarterfinal. The Zizou magic held football aficionados spellbound.
