Rain: flight services affected

NEDUMBASSERY: Inclement weather, especially in Mumbai owing to heavy rain, has affected domestic flight services from the Cochin International Airport at Nedumbassery on Tuesday.

Indian flight, IC 165, from Delhi via Mumbai arrived here at 3.50 p.m. almost two hours behind schedule. Jet Airways cancelled one of its services to Mumbai (9W 401/402) and clubbed it with another service to operate in the sector. Go Air flight, G8 115, from Mumbai arrived at 4.45 p.m. instead of 3 p.m.

Air Sahara flight, S2 145, from Delhi via Hyderabad arrived at 5.10 p.m. behind the scheduled time of 2.45 p.m. Air Deccan flight, DN 685, from Chennai arrived an hour behind the scheduled time at 4.05 p.m. while the Paramount Airways flight, I7 433, from Chennai is scheduled to arrive at 7.45 p.m. instead of the scheduled time of 5.50 p.m.
