Shashidhar shines

M. Shashidhar Rao (100, 11 x 4) and B. Narender Kumar (four for 29, including a hat-trick) for P & T Colony were the highlights of the drawn match against PKMCC in the A-Division (two-day) league cricket championship here on Tuesday.

Hockey camp put off

The proposed trial-cum-coaching camp for juniors, which was to begin from August 6, has been put off. The fresh schedule will be released later.

Chess tournament

FMC Open bridge

The 22nd Fateh Maidan Club open bridge championship will be organised at its premises from July 7 to 9, according to AP State Bridge Association secretary G. Somi Reddy. The event is open to all registered players of the Bridge Federation of India.
