Process to develop bamboo skin boards for doors

Bangalore: The Indian Plywood Industries Research and Training Institute (IPIRTI), an autonomous body of the Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India, has developed a process for the manufacture of bamboo mat moulded skin boards for doors.

Its objectives are to reduce consumption of wood in making doors and import substitution of high density skin boards from masonite and others. For details, contact Director, IPIRTI, P.B.
