`Party fielded candidates in 30 to 35 seats allotted to TRS'

HYDERABAD: The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) blamed the Congress for its dismal show in the elections saying the latter ditched it by fielding candidates in 30 to 35 ZPTC seats allotted to it as part of the alliance.

"There were 30 to 35 Congress candidates in 66 ZPTC seats allotted to TRS. On the other hand, there were only six or seven TRS candidates in seats contested by Congress," senior TRS leader, A. Narendra, told a news conference on Tuesday evening.

TDP's good show

He said the TRS was sincere in following the principles of alliance but the Congress threw them to the winds.
