Coimbatore: All are equal before law and nobody is more equal,<149> was the message conveyed by the city police on Tuesday morning.

A vehicle belonging to an Additional Superintendent of Police<149> attached to the Coimbatore Rural District Police, was parked near a private hospital close to the District Court complex in violation of parking rules was was <149>fined.

The police driver, when the Commissioner of Police, Coimbatore City, Karan Singha, noticed the vehicle in a `no parking' area during his morning traffic rounds. He asked the traffic sergeant in the area to fine all vehicles the police vehicle.
