Medical check-up for Krushi Bank chief

Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD: Krushi Bank chief K. Venkateswara Rao, who is currently in police custody after being extradited from Thailand, has been subjected to a thorough medical check-up at Osmania General Hospital (OGH) on Tuesday.

"He did not complain of anything. We brought him to hospital since the person in police custody has to be examined by doctors every 48 hours," a Crime Investigation Department official said. All the test reports were normal.

Rao was brought to the hospital amid tight security around 10 a.m. He was in the hospital for an hour and later taken back to the CID office in Masab Tank.
