Chikungunya camp at Owaisi Hospital
A chikungunya fever camp will be organised by the Owaisi Hospital and research Centre on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. in the OP block of General Medicine department. A team of doctors headed by Dr. Mohd Siraj, Prof and Head of Department of General Medicine will examine the patients in the camp. During the camp, required tests will be done at concessional rates. No move to vacate allottees: Housing Board
The allottees of the Housing Board have been informed that there is no proposal either at the Housing Board level or at the State Government level to vacate the existing allottees at Kukatpally, Bagh Lingampally, Nampally, Vidyanagar etc. from their flats and to construct multi-storied complexes in places of the old apartments. A statement from the Board appealed to the allottees not to be carried away by such rumours.
Cardiologist gets fellowship
City-based cardiologist and director, Cathlab, Apollo hospital, P.C.Rath has been awarded `Fellowship of the European Society of Cardiology' this year.
The fellowship will be conferred on Dr. Rath at the joint meeting of the World Congress of Cardiology and European Society of Cardiology to be held on September 5, Barcelona, Spain.
