Sandipan Chanda finishes 10th

NEW DELHI: Sandipan Chanda (6.5 points) drew with Joel Benjamin to take the 10th spot after a nine-way tie for the honours in the nine-round World Open chess tournament in Philadelphia on Tuesday.

Gata Kamsky (7) defeated Vadim Milov in the tie-breaker (blitz game) to win the title.
