Henin's hobby

WIMBLEDON: Justine Henin-Hardenne compares the buzz of playing tennis to skydiving. Well, almost.

When Henin-Hardenne went through a spate of injuries three years ago, she turned to the daredevil activity to help get her through.

``When I was out of the courts because of injuries and illnesses, I needed something to find the adrenaline,'' Henin-Hardenne said after advancing to the semifinals. ``It was amazing... everyone should do it. You need to be a bit crazy to do it.''

She said she and her husband took the last plane up at nightfall.

``It was 9 in the evening, so my husband said, `let's go.' I jumped.''

Now that her career is back on track, she's not as serious about her hobby.

``When I'm on a tennis court like now and all these wins and everything, I don't need it any more,'' she said. ``I have it on the court.'' — AP
