MADURAI: Bagath's all-round effort (72 not out and four for 7) helped Le Chatelier MHSS defeat Jain Vidyalaya by 93 runs and enter the final of the inter-school cricket tournament, organised by LOSA, here on Wednesday.

The scores (semifinals): Le Chatelier 157 for four in 20 overs (Bagath 72 n.o.) bt Jain Vidyalaya 64 in 14.3 overs (Vasanth four for 11, Bagath four for seven); TVS MHSS 129 for seven in 20 overs (B. Arun Kannan 45, R.G. Vignesh 43) bt Idayam Rajendran Residential School 72 in 16.3 overs (Krishna Kumar four for 11). — Sports Correspondent
