Krishna takes title

VIJAYAWADA: Krishna lifted the S.V.H. Giridhar Trophy in the ACA (Central Zone) u-19 inter-district tournament with a 160-run win over West Godavari in the final league match here on Wednesday.

Batting first, host Krishna made 238 for six in 50 overs with Ch. Ramesh (86) and T.K. Ganesh (50 n.o.) the main contributors. In reply, West Godavari was shot out for a paltry 78 in 23.3 overs. M. Dinesh and Arun picked up two wickets each.
