Venugopal urges Ministers to tackle the issue

ALAPPUZHA: Alappuzha MLA K.C. Venugopal has urged Electricity Minister A.K. Balan and Minister for Water Resources

N.K. Premachandran to ensure uninterrupted supply of power and water in the district. In a statement here, Mr. Venugopal said there had been continuous disruption in power and water supply in the town during the past few days. He said the shortage of potable water in Alappuzha was causing health problems. The public had complained that the officials were not responding to their complaints. He said a meeting of officials and representatives of the people would be convened at the inspection bungalow of the KW A on July 8 to discuss the issue.
