Stating that every child in the area must go to school, Ms. Luthra said it was her mission to improve the facilities at schools, particularly the government schools, besides solving the myriad problems of the area residents. She said special schemes would be introduced for the welfare of women.
Water supply to be affected
According to a Delhi Jal Board release, the affected areas include Greater Kailash-I and II, Saket, Malviya Nagar, Defence Colony, Andrews Ganj, South Extension, Chirag Delhi, Kalkaji Janta Flats, Ramlila Ground, Nirankari Colony, MCD Colony and Indira Vikas Colony. Water tankers would be available at telephone nos: 29814106 (Jal Sadan), 26414647 (Greater Kailash), 26100644 (R.K.Puram) and 23370911 (I.P. Pumping Station).
ITPO to organise promotional events
The promotional events would be organised in Johannesburg, Mauritius, Tajikistan, Cebu (Phillippines), Kiev, Brazil's Sao Paulo and Sydney, an ITPO release said.
