Poet Thirunellur Karunakaran dead

KOLLAM: Poet Thirunellur Karunakaran passed away on Wednesday night at his residence at Perumon near here. He was 81 and is survived by his wife, Shyamala, two sons and two daughters. Karunakaran is a recipient of Vayalar Award. He has written several renowned Malayalam poems including Tashkent.
