Valsan Thillankery hospitalised

KANNUR: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) district leader Valsan Thillankery who is on an indefinite hunger strike in protest against his arrest in connection with the murder of a CPI(M) worker at Punnad was shifted to Kozhikode Medical College Hospital on the advice of doctors.

Hindu Aikya Vedi State general secretary M. Radhakrishnan and RSS leader K.K. Balaram visited Mr. Thillankery in jail. The RSS would launch a token fast on July 6 and start a week-long relay fast from July 7.
