Dr. Mohan Rajan receives Doctor's Day award

CHENNAI:
As part of the Doctor's Day celebrations, a city branch of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) conducted a sensitisation programme on Avian Influenza at the Rajan Eye Care Hospital. The president of the Poonamalee High Road Branch of the IMA A.S. Thambiah conferred the Doctor's Day award on Dr. Mohan Rajan, Medical Director of the Rajan Eye Care Hospital for his commitment and dedication towards poor patients as well as delivering quality eye care.
Super-speciality
The Rajan Eye Care Hospital is a super-speciality eye hospital and Post Graduate Institute of Opthalmology, affiliated to the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi. Honorary joint secretary of the Association Dr. Dharam Prakash, presented the citation . The honorary secretary and co-ordinator, Dr. A.J. Premkumar Sathya highlighted the importance of Doctor's day.
Dr. M. Balasubramanian, National Vice President, IMA Head Quarters and Dr. N. Muthurajan, IMA State Joint Secretary, delivered lectures on avian influenza.
