Examination postponed: The entrance examination for the BA Mass Communication and Video Production course at the Mar Ivanios College, Thiruvananthapuram, scheduled on July 6 has been postponed to July 1.

M.Tech Examination: The first semester M.Tech examination(1998 scheme) will be held on July 6, 10, 12, 17, 19 and 21, while the M.Tech and MP Housing (2003 scheme) examinations will be held on July 7, 11, 14, 18, 20 and 25.

B.Tech practical: The practical of the seventh semester B.Tech Mechanical, Production, and Automobile courses will be held at the College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram, at the Barton Hill Engineering College, at the Sree Chithira Thirunal Engineering College and at the TKM Engineering College Kollam on July 12.

Date extended: Applications for admission to the degree courses in the UIT centres can be submitted till 3 p.m. on July 10.

Continuing education courses: The Centre for Adult Continuing Education and Extension has invited applications for its certificate courses in Functional English and Public Speaking and in Women's Studies. Further information can be had from the CACEE on phone 0471--2302523.

M.Phil results: The results of the M.Phil programmes in Futures Studies, linguistics (2004-05), Commerce (2005-06) have been published.

MA Hindi: The results of the MA Hindi examinations (Credit and Semester System, 2004-06) have been published. V. S. Srechithra has secured the first rank.

MA Linguistics: The results of the MA Linguistics CSS examinations (2004-06) have been published. The first rank goes to Aju Samuel Thomas.

MA Philosophy: The results of the MA Philosophy (CSS, 2004-06), examinations have been published. The first rank goes to K. K. Renjith.

M.Sc Physics: The results of the M.Sc Physics examinations (CSS, 2004-06) have been published. The first rank goes to S. Durga.

M.Com: The results of the M.Com (CSS, 2004-06) examinations have been published. The first rank goes to Diana Ann Isaac.
