NEW DELHI: The Station House Officer (SHO) of Mukherji Nagar police station in North-West Delhi has been removed from the post on charges of indiscipline after he made an entry in the daily diary alleging that the district Deputy Commissioner of Police abused him. The SHO, Surendra Sund, is the investigating officer in the sensational Red Fort terrorist attack case. It is learnt that on Tuesday, he had to go to High Court to attend the hearing in the case. However, it is alleged that the area Deputy Commissioner of Police, Virender Singh, contacted Mr. Sund over the wireless set and asked him to conduct patrolling near the Vijay Nagar drain. Mr. Sund informed Mr. Singh that he would depute someone else for the job as he was going to the High Court for the crucial hearing. After he returned from court, in the daily dairy, Mr. Sund made an entry that Mr. Singh had used a derogatory word against him over the wireless set saying he should not have refuted his order over the wireless set as everyone was listening to the transmission. The daily diary's copies are sent to senior police officers to apprise them of daily happenings
