Fire breaks out near Ek Minar mosque

Cause of fire not yet ascertained

HYDERABAD: A fire broke out in the open spaces of the Railway Yard near the Ek Minar mosque in Nampally at 10.45 p.m. here on Wednesday. According to the Central Zone Night Duty Officer, ACP (Detective Department) Ramaraju, the place was strewn with garbage and scrap and a fire broke out at the place leading to mild tension as the mishap occurred behind a petrol pump. However, local people soon alerted the police, who in turn pressed the fire tenders and controlled the situation.
