Seven tolas of gold stolen from flat in Kothapet

HYDERABAD:
Thieves took away gold ornaments weighing seven tolas from a flat of Sri Sai enclave at Mahalaxminagar in Kothapet of Saroornagar during daytime on Wednesday.
The flat owner - Nalla Reddy, an employee of Social Welfare Department, went out around 7 a.m. along with his family to attend a function.
On return in the evening, he found the main door lock broken and the property stolen from the almirah.
Meanwhile, in another incident, the Hyderabad police task force (South) team on Wednesday arrested Syed Najat Ali, 26, who was allegedly involved in several criminal cases in Old City.
They seized a knife and a motorcycle from his possession, according to a press release.
