Mandatory jute order

NEW DELHI: The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs on Thursday decided to retain 100 per cent compulsory packing for foodgrains and sugar in jute bags for the jute year 2006-07 (July to June), over-ruling the recommendations of a standing advisory committee for reduction in the percentage.
