Master Kishen to be honoured

He has directed a full-length feature film `C/O Footpath' at the age of nine

BANGALORE: The Rotary Club of Bangalore J.P. Nagar will have a special young guest when its new set of office-bearers take over on Friday at NIMHANS Convention Centre on Hosur Road.

The guest is Master Kishen, who has been nominated to enter the Guinness Book of World Records as the youngest film director. He has directed a full-length feature film called "C/O Footpath" at the age of nine and has made his "parents and the State and the country proud," a representative of the club says.

Master Kishen will be honoured with "Young Achiever" award in the programme. This is in recognition of his achievement in the visual art media of cinema and for appearing in 24 movies and over 1,000 television serials at this young age. Master Kishen composed film music at the age of six. This too is a rare achievement.The Rotary Club has honoured young achievers in the past too.
