Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD: Snatchers struck at three places in the city on Thursday relieving three women of their gold chains. Two motorcycle-borne youngsters snatched a gold chain from a teacher while she was returning home from school on foot in Tappachabutra on Thursday.

In another case, a housewife Sushma returned to her Swathi Gruha apartment building at SBI Colony in Asifnagar from her evening walk around 5 p.m. and was standing near the gate when a stranger walked up to her. He snatched her chain, ran towards a person waiting on a bike and sped away.

In the third incident, T. Bhavana was walking on the road at Vasavi Colony of Saroornagar when two youths on a scooter grabbed her `mangalasutra' and sped away.
