Victor George memorial meet

KOCHI: The death anniversary of Victor George, news photographer, will be observed at the Ernakulam Press Club on Sunday.

The Kerala Union of Working Journalists observes Journalists Day in memory of the photographer, who died in a landslip while clicking the monsoon at Idukki.

The district-level function will be held at Ernakulam Press Club at 11 a.m. on Sunday.

Environmentalist and the former Pro-Vice-Chancellor of Calicut University M.K. Prasad will speak.

The state-level function will be held in Kozhikode.
