Staff Reporter

There were 15 stab wounds on the body

BANGALORE: A man aged 35 was found murdered in an abandoned car in Hennur police station limits on Thursday.

After the public complained that foul smell was emanating from the abandoned car in HRBR Layout, near the Forest Department office on the Ring Road, the police searched the vehicle.

They found the decomposed body in the boot of the car. The body bore nearly 15 stab wounds. The body has been kept at the Ambedkar Medical College mortuary. Forensic experts said the man could have been murdered at least two days ago, the police said.

The assailants had left the car keys in the vehicle. Preliminary inquiries revealed that the car belonged to Kishore Kumar of Tilaknagar. The police found the house locked, the police said.

The police said the crime could have happened elsewhere after which the assailants had abandoned the car with the body on the Ring Road.

The Hennur police have registered a case.
