"Too hot to handle," "A bloody affair," and "Let the war begin" say the promos of the Logitech Skoar 2006, a gaming expo that began on Friday at Sree Kanteerava Stadium. There is a lot of excitement for children and grown-ups alike. There are sections and there are games for people with different temperaments multiplayer games, hardcore games for those with a lot of energy, those for the quieter bookworm types, of course something for the cricket lover.
Gaming zones
Gaming zones include PC gaming with games such as unreal tournament, counter strike: source, F.E.A.R, painkiller and so on; there is a big screen gaming zone where players can play on a massive flat screen with all the sound effects. For the non-competitive gamer, there is a casual gaming zone where players play games such as Road Rash, Need for Speed, Underground and so on. A number of stalls showcase their wares including games and gaming accessories. Product launches, conferences, and slideshows will be part of the event. Well, that's not all. One of the highlights of the expo is the Centrestage" this is where rock bands from the city will battle it out for the "King of the hills" crown and bag the award for the Best Rock Band.
