HUBLI: A person working as a pourkarmika in Hubli-Dharwad Municipal Corporation was allegedly strangled to death by his wife and son here on Friday. The police gave the name of the victim as Dharmappa Kenchappa Bellary (44), a resident of Bidnal Ashraya Colony here. The police said Dharmappa was allegedly strangulated by his wife Laxmavva and son Umesh at around 3 a.m. on Friday. The accused have alleged that Dharmappa was alcoholic, had an illicit relationship with another woman and used to quarrel regularly with his wife, the police said.
