Pastor comes out against `Da Vinci' protests

Staff Reporter

Allegations against Jesus Christ are as per prophecies in The Bible

HYDERABAD: A majority of Christians might be upset against the release of the movie `The Da Vinci Code', which allegedly casts aspersions on the life of Jesus Christ. But a senior pastor from the same community in the city has appealed to them to call off their protests.

Senior pastor of The Holy Tabernacle Church in Yousufguda, Reverend David M. Bollam, who is also principal of the Jesus Love Mission, Bible Institute, here, expressed his views on Friday in favour of screening the film.

His contention is that the "smear campaign" being carried out against Jesus Christ through the film only proved the prophesies of the Bible. "Jesus undoubtedly is the Holiest of holies without trace of any sin and apart from the Bible, many religious books of the world testified him as the Holy One," he said.

Rev. Bollam said as true believers of Jesus Christ, Christians should realise that allegations against the life of Christ were as per prophecies in The Bible. The film in a way once again proved the prophecies of The Bible that Jesus Christ is the Holy one.
