`Anti-people,' says CPI(M)

Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD: The State Committee of the CPI(M) has strongly opposed the Cabinet's decision to implement the reforms. In a statement, State secretary B.V. Raghavulu criticised the Government for continuing the policies of the previous Telugu Desam regime. The decision was `anti-people' and `anti-worker,' he said and added that it was not proper to sacrifice the interests of the PSUs to obtain loans from the World Bank. He urged the Government to immediately withdraw its proposals.
