Kochi: A Division Bench of the Kerala High Court on Friday ordered that the appointment of employees, if any, made in the Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) would be subject to the outcome of the writ petition challenging the Government Order making 33 per cent reservation for the Backward Classes and Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates on the board. The Bench comprising Chief Justice V.K. Bali and Justice M. Ramachandran passed the order on a writ petition filed by the Nair Service Society. The court also directed the Board to file a counter-affidavit within 15 days.
