CHENNAI:
The State Government has posted a new Deputy Commissioner of Police to Annanagar district here in the latest transfer and posting of officers.
P. Balasubramanian, hitherto Superintendent of Police, CIU, Prohibition Offences, Chennai, replaces A. Arun as Deputy Commissioner (DC), Annanagar.
The latter has been posted as DC, St. Thomas Mount, in the existing vacancy. K.R. Shyam Sundar, hitherto Additional Director-General (ADGP), Chief Vigilance Officer, State Express Transport Corporation, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, State Traffic Planning Cell, Chennai.
He succeeds Amit Varma who has been shunted out and posted as Project Officer, Tamil Nadu Police Academy, Chennai.
The other officers who have been transferred are: A. Alexander Mohan as Deputy Inspector-General (DIG), Salem range; Sandeep Rai Rathore, Joint Commissioner, Central Zone, Greater Chennai; Seema Agrawal, DIG, Administration, Chennai; T.P. Sundaramurthy, DIG, Training, Chennai; R. Samuthirapandi, Superintendent, CIU, Prohibition Offences, Chennai and V.H. Mohamed Haneefa, SP, Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board, Chennai.
