SCHOOL IS FUN! Some enthusiastic `kit-winners' at the fun programme organised by Disney Channel at Wesley Boys School in the city on Friday. PHOTO: SATISH H.
HYDERABAD: Laughing loud in the company of friends, students of Wesley Boys High School had an altogether different day at school here on Friday. It was a fun-filled hour for the students, taking part in the `Masti ki Patshala' programme organised by Disney Channel. They also took home kits, with animated timetable charts and label stickers. Disney Channel organised `Masti ki Patshala', wherein four shows including the popular `Recess and American Dragon' were screened. Based on the programme, on-the-spot contests, quiz and games were conducted for students. One lucky winner bagged the special Disney shoes and toy kit from the school. Speaking to reporters, Head Corporate Communications K. Seshasaye said the programme would be a platform for students to express themselves and take part in contests without fear. Most students are reluctant to go back to school after a break of two months and programmes like this, would bring the students back into the groove, he said. Hence, it was beneficial both for students and the school management. Similar programmes would be conducted in 40 schools of the city this year, covering over 40,000 students, he added. "Going to school will never be boring, if programmes like this are held regularly with lots of fun and prizes," summed up K. Sai Manohar, a Class VIII student.
