Power shutdown in several areas of the city today

Bangalore:
There will be no power supply in parts of the city between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday owing to maintenance works on Cooke Town O&M unit of E5 sub-division. The affected areas include Wheeler Road Extension, C.K. Garden, Vivekanandanagar, Banaswadi Main Road, M.S. Nagar and surrounding areas. On Sunday, there will be no power from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in some areas. According to a press release here, the affected areas are Sanjayanagar, Bhoopasandra, Central Excise Layout, UAS Layout, Dollars Colony, Kottepatil Apartment, Nagashettihalli, Bhadrappa Layout, Deinagar, Lottegollahalli, IISc. Layout, Chikkamaranahalli, L.G. Halli, MSR Industrial area, Mathikere, Sadashivanagar, Vyalikaval, Ranganathapuram, Malleswaram, Swimming Pool Extension, Sirur Park Extension, Palace Guttahalli, IISc. and its surroundings.
