MANGALORE: Kodagu, Dakshina Kannada and Udupi Engineers' Association and the Institution of Engineers (India), local centre, will conduct a coaching programme for section `A' subjects of Associate Member of the Institute of Engineers (AMIE) examination. The organisers have convened a meeting to provide information about the revised scheme of AMIE, registration and examination details at PWD Building, Nehru Maidan Road here on July 16 at 10 a.m. According to a press release here on Saturday, diploma holders could upgrade their qualification by clearing the AMIE examination. This is an informal route of acquiring engineering degree, in which students need not register themselves in any engineering college. Details can be had from M.
